You may encounter glares during the day when viewing on certain angles, but the “Vivid” picture mode takes care of it. Combined with the sleek design, there should be no issues when setting up the home entertainment system and room layout.

It has a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 which is excellent for deep blacks. Although the number of color settings are limited, the Intelligent Scene Controller which includes both gamma correction and backlight control allow even better options to improve the contrast further for greater emphasis on deep blacks as well as clean whites, and color transitions. Plenty of connectivity options are included as well coming with 3 HDMI connections for all the other entertainment devices and component and PC inputs.

“I’ve had this tv for almost two weeks now and have not had any problems with it so far. the picture quality is outstanding when it is connected to hi-def tv channels. standard-definition channels also look great on this television. the tv does have some glare in rooms with windows but does’nt seem to be very problematic at all so don’t let that be a reason not to buy it. Technologies & Extra Features

Because the Panasonic TC-L37S1 is geared towards affordability, don’t expect too many flashy technologies on this device, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing because the quality overall is pretty good and it still manages to squeeze in the Motion Focus technology which provides improved resolution during high-speed action scenes. Not all HDTVs manage to do this including some 1080p ones.

The VIERA Image Viewer which is popular in the larger TVs is also included complete with SD card slot so you can take your SD card of your camera and immediately plug it into the TV turning it to a huge digital photo frame with some basic features that is good for sharing pictures to others.

The VIERA Link is also featured enabling you to use a single remote to control any other Panasonic devices eliminating a messy pile of remotes. This is definitely the TV of choice if you have several Panasonic devices.

The Panasonic TC-L37S1 also makes a great gamer’s TV not only because of its high resolution no matter what action is taking place, but the Game Mode as well so you can easily switch your settings to the best configuration before you start playing.
