“I received this TV as a replacement for my Samsung DLP which had a couple of boards go out. The fact that Samsung replaced it with this beautiful work of art says something. First, the touch of red is hardly noticeable. It’s very easy to set up, turn it on and it asks if you are in a showroom or home and a couple of other questions(can’t remember, took about 30 seconds). Ran the THX optimizer found on Lucasfilm DVD’s and we only had to change the green level 2 notch’s. The default settings are spot on but yet it offers at least 20 other advanced settings that any videophile will love. The picture with a standard dvd player is fantastic, I’m pretty sure the TV does some up converting but I could be making that up, no artifacts, or ghosting. The black levels are very, very, nice and solid. I use hulu and netflix on demand through an xbox and the picture couldn’t be better.
