Features
The large 52” anti-reflective display makes viewing in all ambient light conditions comfortable. Of course in a darkened room environment it excels in color richness and vibrancy. The Wide Color Enhancer Pro, built in Ethernet and WiFi ready features give you viewing options for Internet videos and information, along with enhanced color for true life pictures, especially in high def movies or gaming. This set is part of the Series 7 televisions from Samsung that can handle any HDTV signal up to the current maximum of 1080p without having to downsize. The major upgrade to this model is the 240Hz refresh rate and Auto Motion Plus processing which means smoother motion between frames.

- “If you want a real review on this TV you must take it from the absolute professionals. There is no one in the US that knows picture quality better than Craig Rounds (from CIR-Engineering) he has over 120,000$ worth of equipment. He is not CNET that hooks the computer up and uses a 1000$ meter to read the color. He travels around the country calibrating reference home theater systems. He has absolutely no incentive to give a good review! This TV is better than the Pioneer Elite Kuro. Once calibrated it has comparable black levels. Out of the box it has superior video processing; Moreover, you do not need to worry about burn-in’s. It beats all the LCD and LED TVs on the market. The only LED tv that tie’s are last years model’s with local dimming. I did, no kidding, nearly 50 hours of research on different TVs and this is the best. The reason I went with this unit instead of a new LED set is strictly due to near perfection of LCD technology. LED is a new technology, it still has a lot of kinks to work out (Dead pixels, etc..). It will definitely be a better set in the years to come, but this year the b750 take the cake. Now take a ride on any Blu-Ray movie and it’s easy to see how it out preforms all the Panasonic Plasma’s, Well with there “Flicker” problem with Panasonic on 1080 24P (which is definitely the best viewing quality. This set paints it the canvas right in front of your eyes. It is beautiful.” – C.Matheny (USA)
Enhanced Technology
Besides the 240 Hz refresh rate enhancement on the Samsung LN52B750, they have improved the front of the screen by adding a polarizing filter to block reflections and at 30 to 40 degree fade out angle from straight on. The Wide Color Enhancer 3 matches the colors of the video more accurately to the colors that the display can reproduce, although there is an additional Natural view mode which is more accurate than exaggerated.
What Makes the Samsung LN52B750 different?
While there is a growing trend towards LED backlighting, which is typically restricted to higher end models, the CCFL backlighting of this model is a proven technology that Samsung has decided to continue to incorporate in this larger set. While the Series 7 is Samsung’s highest end LCD HDTV’s that use regular CCFL backlighting, they have a fast 2ms response time, 150,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and Touch of Color design. With the Auto Motion Plus 240 Hz technology, the Samsung LN52B750 has the most lifelike LCD action on the market. The built-in QAM cable TV tuner receives unscrambled programs without a set-top box.
Verdict
The user reviews give this television an “almost perfect” score. Comments used to describe the Samsung LN52B750 television include “Absolutely stunning, jaw dropping picture”, “Wow, Amazing HD experience” and “the nirvana”! That pretty much sums up the best qualities of this 52” television that is user friendly with few adjustments necessary “out of the box”. While users mention other great features they liked about the set, including the sleek designer look, picture quality definitely topped the list, and many of the users had other popular brands before they purchased the Samsung. For televisions of this size and quality, you can expect to spend over a couple thousand, but this is one of the best values for the money in the category and has picture quality that is hard to beat!
- “This is one of the nicest looking TVs I’ve ever purchased. I was amazed at the quality and clarity of the picture once it was hooked up. Set-up was a breeze and took seconds using the HDMI cable. I didn’t think the picture would be much different than my 3 year old LCD, but it was the difference between night and day, and that’s not including what it looks like in HD. The HD will knock your socks off. It looks as if the person is sitting or standing in the room with you….it’s hard to describe. I’m still amazed at how beautiful the picture is on this TV. If I could afford it, I’d buy one of these TVs for every room in my house.” – S.Mitchell (USA)
- “I just received my LN52B750 this week and have to say it is simply an amazing display of the high definition experience. For the price, this LCD is a great value IMO – and not just because I purchased it, I shopped around for about 1.5 months and could not find a better LCD with the features this set offers. A friend has last years LN52A750 and I can honestly tell the differences and upgrades to the ‘B’ model – such as the increased contrasts ratio, 240Hz refresh rate and the improved Media 2.0 USB functionality. If you are looking for a decently priced LCD (with higher end features), this is the TV for you!” – G.Arteaga (IL, USA)
