A nice feature of the LC42D85U is the unobtrusive speakers mounted in a recessed bottom. The table stand that comes along with the unit can easily be moved out of the way if the owner prefers to mount it on the wall.

If you were wondering, this TV has one of the thinnest bezels you can get for a 42″ screen without sacrificing screen area. The picture is amazing, better than the similar priced Sony’s and Samsung. The auto brightness is only noticeable sometimes, like when the lights are turned on in the room. I did have to disable the on screen notice of brightness level it gives, as it was annoying me.
