The Sony picture is amazingly clear and almost life like. I picked this TV up along with a Sony Dolby 5.1 Home Theater System, Sony DAV-HDX275. The Bravia HDMI sync technology works seamlessly between the TV and HTS. I love how the TV will automatically turn-on the HTS for the audio. Also, the HTS has an upscaling DVD player. The Sony KDL46W4100 has picture controls coupled with one PC input and 4 HDMI. Guys who love gaming will love the dedicated game mode feature which has no lag between the TV screen and game controller. There are four adjustable picture presets which are adjustable while a theatre preset cannot be adjusted. Noise reduction and color temperature settings can be adjusted as per your requirements.

The remote is simple and has strategically placed buttons. However it’s not a universal remote and does not have backlighting. Although its design and simplicity of use makes up for those minor flaws!

Sony KDL-46W4100 also has an onscreen electronic programming guide which gives you complete information about all programs and available channels. It also has a picture in picture mode which lets you watch two programs at the same time.

You can even watch your internet videos on the KDL46W4100 through the internet video link module. It also has a control via HDMI scheme too. It saves on energy consumption to0 by reducing peak brightness with the power saving option.
